Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Vendor to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for sales. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly valued to better serve our diverse clientele. The Vendor will play a key role in merchandising, product demonstrations, and maintaining a welcoming environment that encourages sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers by providing excellent customer service and product knowledge
  • Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits effectively
  • Manage merchandising displays to attract customer attention and optimize product placement
  • Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Upsell products and suggest additional items to increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain organized stock areas and ensure products are properly labeled and stocked
  • Use communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new products, and store policies
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure all responsibilities are completed during shifts
  • Uphold phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or via other communication channels
  • Support the team in achieving sales targets through proactive engagement and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer needs effectively
  • Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and POS operations
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage stock and display setups efficiently
  • Ability to perform product demos with confidence and clarity
  • Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and patience
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and upselling techniques is desirable
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours

Job Type: Seasonal

Contract length: 7-12 months
