We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Cashier/Cook. This versatile role combines the fast-paced responsibilities of food service with the friendly interaction of a cashier, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service and delicious meals. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and efficiently process transactions at the cash register with accuracy and friendliness
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring quality, presentation, and timely delivery
  • Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Support food preparation activities, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special catering events
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with restocking as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by serving meals with professionalism and a positive attitude

Experience

  • Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
  • Experience working in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within the food industry
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
  • Proven ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances
  • Background in catering or large-scale food service operations is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
