Job Summary

The Line Cook plays a vital role in preparing and executing menu items with consistency, care, and a sense of pride. You'll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen that values efficiency, cleanliness, and beautiful food presentation. Key Responsibilities


• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards


• Assist with prep during slower times (slicing, mixing, portioning, etc.)


• Cook and plate food for both dine-in and take-out orders with speed and precision


• Communicate clearly with front-of-house and other kitchen staff to maintain flow and accuracy


• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times


• Keep your workstation clean, stocked, and organized throughout service


• Assist with end-of-day cleaning and restocking duties


• Occasionally help brainstorm or test new dishes using local ingredients and our fresh milled flour

Qualifications


• Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person


• Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay calm under pressure


• A good eye for detail and presentation


• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team


• Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices (certification is a plus)
