Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain process, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, and optimizing transportation management systems. This position requires strong data analysis skills and experience with various logistics software, including ERP systems and warehouse management systems.

Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
  • Manage warehouse distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for procurement and sourcing of materials while maintaining strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Utilize transportation management systems to optimize freight operations and reduce costs.
  • Analyze data related to demand planning, pricing, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Implement best practices in materials management and packaging to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Monitor order picking processes to maintain accuracy in fulfillment operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field with a strong understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as AS400.
  • Knowledge of purchasing, freight operations, and e-commerce logistics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
