Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Moncton, NB. The person hired will be the sole individual responsible for the full accounting cycle and office management for the company. The perfect candidate is someone who takes initiative, can follow strict deadlines and is open to completing an array of tasks from accounting to administration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
  • Manage payroll and employee communication
  • Prepare and submit HST and payroll tax filings
  • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Submit weekly reports to management
  • Prepare data and files for year-end
  • Various administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • College certification or bachelor's degree in accounting
  • QuickBooks online experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
  • Strong organizational and time management skills – deadlines must be met
  • Bilingualism an asset
