Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our client in the Greater Moncton area on a contract basis. The successful candidate will provide general accounting support, focusing on accounts payable and accounts receivable, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with immediate availability to start.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsMaintain and update financial records and ledgersAssist with reconciliations of accounts, invoices, and bank statementsSupport month-end and year-end accounting activities as requiredPrepare and review invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentationProvide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team

Experience & Attributes for Success:

Post-secondary education in accounting, commerce, or business; or equivalent training/experience1 – 3 years of accounting support experience Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and organizational skillsPost-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
