**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Dispatch and manage **cross-border LTL shipments** from the Northeastern U.S. into Western Canada
- Coordinate driver schedules, linehaul movements, and relay points across international borders
- Ensure all cross-border documentation and shipment details are accurate and compliant
- Communicate clearly with drivers regarding routes, border requirements, transit expectations, and delivery instructions
- Track shipments and provide timely, accurate updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with Canadian and U.S. Hours of Service regulations and company policies
- Proactively resolve delays, border issues, or service exceptions using a solutions-driven approach
- Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and warehouse teams to optimize lane performance
- Maintain accurate records and real-time updates within the TMS and dispatch systems

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Proven experience as a **cross-border dispatcher**, preferably in LTL and long-haul operations
- Strong knowledge of Northeastern U.S. and Western Canadian geography
- Solid understanding of cross-border shipping procedures and documentation
- Working knowledge of both Canadian and U.S. Hours of Service regulations
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with TMS and dispatch software
- High attention to detail and commitment to service reliability
