*Job Overview*

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling freight shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and customers.

*Responsibilities*
- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using phone systems and computer software
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely deliveries
- Enter shipment data accurately into the system for tracking purposes
- Utilize Fleet manager or similar software for logistics management
- Collaborate with Supply Chain partners including 3PL providers
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when interacting with drivers and customers
- Report any shipment refusal due to damage, wrong product with the customer and move to next steps as advised by the customer.
- Update the customer and status of orders in system on daily basis, scheduled, delivered, picked etc.
- Must have knowledge of LTL shipments.
- Must have knowledge of USA, Montreal and GTA area.

*Requirements*
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field is preferred - minimum 2-3 years
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately for data entry tasks
- Familiarity with Shipping/Receiving processes is a plus
- Knowledge of Fleet manager or similar logistics software is advantageous
- Strong understanding of freight operations and Supply Chain management
- Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and team members

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Phone etiquette: 1 year (required)
- Supply chain: 2 years (required)
- Shipping & receiving: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
