This is a fantastic hybrid opportunity that allows you mainly work remotely from home with very occasional visits to the office, as needed.
**Job Overview**
The _**Sales Analyst**_ is responsible for analyzing new product initiatives, pricing, sales reports, assisting with sample requests, trade show contacts, as well as analyzing day to day activities to support the sales department.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Preparation and distribution of sales reports for US retail and US Food service teams
- Presentations, Analysis, Pricing Variances Monthly/Quarterly report for Management/Board meetings and Gross Profit reports and analysis for the VP of Sales as required
- Complete day to day reports as needed from customers to provide updated data and information
- Work closely with Sales teams to ensure all marketing materials & pricing to master data team are available and that customer specific price lists reflect the current product status with accuracy
- Document all new product prices, price changes, and sku rationalization
- Administration of major accounts deal sheets, and tracking of promotions and Promotional spending;
- Audit reports looking for pricing discrepancies and missing pricing information
**Recipe for Success**:
- Completion of college diploma in Business Administration, Sales or another related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales Analyst role or related analytical work
- Prior experience with Power BI and/or Anaplan preferred (or similar softwares)
- Previous experience in an analyst role within Manufacturing is an asset
- Strong/proficient in MS office programs (Advance MS Excel proficiency is an asset)
- Proactive in identifying opportunities and providing recommendations to grow business - with regular review of both internal and market data to identify growth opportunities
- Willingness to take on new and more challenging projects
- Well-developed problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail
