Data Analyst

**Job Summary**:
For those who are interested in a career in data, the data analyst position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about data from a holistic perspective. The role entails looking after the data from its creation to its analysis and presentation, ensuring data integrity at every step.

Our products are available through a national network of Canadian electrical distributors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct proactive sales analysis of customers, products, categories to identify trends and present recommendations to stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales & Purchasing.
- Work with New Product Development Team to conduct sales and category analysis to help leadership decide whether or not to launch products.
- Work with different stakeholders to find a suitable data dashboard solution to their problems.
- Assist with major data-projects and initiatives.
- Take ownership of the data lifecycle, overseeing the proper management and maintenance of data from beginning to end.
- Assist with the data-side of product launches.
- Take ownership of the data flow and communication between RAB Design and our customers.
- Document process details, and any new fields/tables needed for ecommerce.
- Automate and streamline the data process, working with various stakeholders at different stages in the data life cycle.

**Job Skills & Qualifications**:

- Curiosity, passion, willingness to learn, and a knack for problem-solving.
- Experience with Excel
- Knowledge of SQL, Tableau is an asset.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- 1 to 2 years of data analysis experience is an asset.
- Attention to detail is important.
- A University Degree.
