**Position**:Supply Chain & Operations Analyst**
**Darcor Casters and Wheels**

**The Position**:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager (the “SCM”), the Supply Chain & Operations Analyst’s job is to forecast component needs and ensure orders are in place for anticipated demand. It also includes supporting the daily production scheduling meeting and picking process, by anticipating receipt of components and preparing support documents used during the daily review.

**Accountabilities and Responsibilities include**:
The Supply Chain & Operations Analyst shall be proactive in identifying strategic and tactical issues related to Darcor’s supply chain forecasting, operations scheduling and Sales Forecasting.
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and customer demand patterns.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve component availability and forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Conduct daily forecast updates of component availability, both purchased and fabricated.
- Cross train with the Outside Services Manager to develop continuity and back-up support.
- Triage demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Co-ordinate, supervise and participate in Cycle-Counts of inventory, with the goal of minimizing stock-outs and adjustments.

**Qualifications, Abilities & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields preferred.
- Inventory management experience preferred.
- Supply Chain role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Expertise in Visual or similar ERP environment preferred.
- Capability to multitask and “pinch” hit in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- The ability to write and converse in Mandarin, Japanese or French considered an asset.
- Forklift operator license is an asset. Training will be provided if not available.
