The Company
District Bar & Restaurant inspired by New York's food and culture scene the menu focuses on tapas style share plates, traditional inspired comfort food and classic cocktails. We have a fun, upbeat environment with a gastro-lounge food focused concept, an excellent craft beer selection and a local inspired wine list.
Job Summary:
- General operations of two restaurants
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate events and promotions
- Working closely with our social media and Marketing Manager
- Build a community following
- Direct hiring, training, and scheduling
- Implement new and seasonal cocktail lists along with the Beverage Manager
- Work closely with the Executive Chef in planning objectives
- Conduct weekly management meetings with tangible goals and objectives
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 5 - 7 years previous industry experience, 3 years in a management role
- Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties
- Genuine passion for People, Great Food and Service
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Considerable knowledge of hospitality systems and controls
- Ability to manage with a high level of attention to detail, hospitality and enthusiastic personality to train and lead
