**Position purpose**:
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Aid and Awards, provide integrated management (planning and coordination) of the core activities of the Undergraduate and Graduate sectors to optimize the provision of endowments, internal and external scholarships and awards students by establishing quality control and quality criteria while respecting the regulations of the granting agencies and budgetary constraints.

**In this role, your responsibilities will include**:
Manage operations related to convocation prizes, work study, bursaries and scholarships while providing financial advice on the management and monitoring of scholarship awards. Approve bursaries and scholarships grant to students required by the University, donors and private organizations.

Coordinates all internal and external financial reporting requirements in accordance with the auditing and reporting guidelines (bursaries, scholarships, MASED, endowments, private donors, organizations, internal committees) to meet legal requirements and to ensure continuity of funding.

Prepare and revise budget expenses to ensure effective allocation of allowances received from institutions set-aside budget endowments private donors, organizations and ensure control over the management of funds in accordance with the terms and conditions establishes and raises variances.

**What you will bring**:
Postsecondary education in a related field or work experience that is deemed equivalent;
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
A minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources management and supervision of a team;
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with procedures, regulations and methods that govern government scholarship and bursary granting.

Experience in creating and maintaining partnerships and strategic relationships that demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience in conflict resolution and crisis management;
Experience in project management;
Ability to address complex situations and find effective solutions;
Demonstrated experience to deliver presentations in front of various client bases;
Knowledge of post-secondary education programs and academic regulations;
Experience with computer systems, multiple database and Microsoft software including advanced knowledge of Excel;
Ability to work independently, under pressure, organize work according to strict deadlines, and manage priorities by working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in administrative writing;
Bilingualism (written and oral communication);
This position may require the incumbent to work outside of regular office hours and on weekends.
