The Government Contracts Administrator provides contract management, analysis, and administrative support to Fortinet sales teams responsible for sales to the public sector.

**Essential Functions**:

- Review requests for proposals (RFPs) for Canadian public sector contracts to identify laws, regulations and administrative requirements that should be factored into bid/no bid decisions or identified as exceptions in proposals.
- Work with internal business units (e.g., sales, channel, legal, finance, technical support, professional services, human resources) to develop and administer compliance plans for awarded contracts.
- Work with legal department to identify contract terms and conditions that must flow down to authorized resellers on Fortinet-held contracts.
- Work with sales and channel management to identify the partners to be authorized as resellers on Fortinet-held contracts.
- Perform periodic compliance checks on quotes issued by resellers through Fortinet contracts to confirm that they are in scope and comply with contract requirements.
- Prepare and submit administrative reports required by Fortinet-held contracts
- Ensure that administrative fees due under Fortinet-held contracts are paid on a timely basis.
- Prepare and manage contract price lists.
- Prepare and submit contract modification requests.
- Coordinate contract renewals.
- Provide input to product management/product marketing to maximize the number of products/services that can be sold through public sector contracts.
- Collaborate with partners (distributors, resellers) that are seeking or hold public sector contracts that can be used to sell Fortinet products in order to facilitate the sale of Fortinet products/services through those contracts.

**Skills/Qualification**:

- Knowledge of multiple award contract vehicles and cooperative purchasing vehicles that are widely used to sell information technology products to public sector entities.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement practices and acquisition regulations.

**Required Education/Experience**:

- A minimum of five years of directly relevant experience, preferably for an IT product manufacturer that sells to the public sector through distribution.
- Experience in pre-award and post-award phases of contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
