Plasti-Fab Ltd, a manufacturer of expanded polystyrene insulation products, has been operating for over 50 years and has a current opening for an Administrative Assistant for our busy manufacturing plants, based out of Kitchener. We offer compettive salary and excellent benefits package.
- 5+ years’ office experience, preferably within manufacturing
- Diploma in Office/ Business Administration preferred
- A team player with strong interpersonal & communications skills
- Excellent computer skills - MS Office, word processing and data entry skills
- Able to multi-task in a busy manufacturing office while retaining strong attention to detail
- Purchasing, accounts payable and inventory control experience
- Able to travel to Ajax for occasional visits (every 2 months) to our Ajax plant
**Job Description**:
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Importing and verifying of production reports into an ERP system.
2. Manual Data Entry of any production-related documents into ERP system not processed through Live Link.
3. Correct any production deficiencies before daily closing.
4. Monitor plant employee timecard entries.
5. Maintain production reports and daily timecard edit reports.
6. Process accounts payable.
7. Inventory: reconciliation and process inventory transactions.
8. Purchasing of raw materials and plant floor supplies.
9. Purchase and maintain office supplies and production forms
10. Provide various administrative functions
11. Maintain branch personnel records and ERP Binders
12. Provide support for benefits and vacation administration and queries.
13. Reception and switchboard back-up duties
14. Coordinate Company Annual Awards Gala/other functions.
15. Meet all safety requirements and regulations
16. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) where advised
17. Ensure a clean work environment
18. Develop a flexible approach to a team environment
19. Follow company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ office experience, preferably within manufacturing
