Your roles and responsibilities:
- Create content for all organic social media channels, including pitching and identifying story opportunities.
- Provide support to Digital Engagement Team as members respond to comments and direct messages across our platforms.
- Schedule photography and videography, providing live event support when required.
- Prepare detailed content for calendars that align with our guiding principles, including proactively planning meetings to support the calendar creation.
- Continuously improve by capturing, analyzing and reporting appropriate social data and metrics, insights and best practices.
- Identify growth and training opportunities for the team, while also managing relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Audit company's social media channels and activities and propose plans that ensure we are well positioned to achieve our goals and deliver on client expectations.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders.
- Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms.
Travel
- Flexibility to be available outside of work hours, a
Education and experience
- University degree in a related discipline (e.g. Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing.)
- Three to five years of practical experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of current digital platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, along with technologies, trends and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Canadian Press Style Guidelines considered an asset.
