The Social Media & PR Marketing Specialist reporting into the Marketing Director will be responsible for executing Social Media (Organic) and Public Relations strategies and integrating said strategies into key marketing campaigns for Bath & Body Works Canada. This person will actively collaborate with the external PR Agency and work closely with the internal marketing team, including key US partners to help develop content and strategies to drive Social Brand engagement and develop materials for media outreach.

**Specifically, this position will**:
**SOCIAL MEDIA**
- Execute strategic Social Media (Organic) plans for Canada by adapting Brand materials, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, and emerging channels (ie Threads, TikTok)
- Support Social campaign development and asset creation from concept through execution and analysis phases
- Execute day-to-day operations of the Social Media platforms, including execution of Status Updates and content publishing across channels
- Develop, write/execute and maintain accurate and up-to-date campaign content calendar across platforms
- Support analysis of engagement, content and campaigns, creating and maintaining Social Media reports / (weekly, by theme) to share with the leadership team and key business partners
- Stay current on Social trends and translate them into appropriate Bath & Body Works Canada programs
- Support patterning of social landscape and keep a pulse on competitors to identify best-in-class benchmarks, inspire campaign development, uncover trends, as well as support platform presence/usage and strategy evolution

**PUBLIC RELATIONS**
- Execute day-to-day operations of the PR programs in partnership with our external agency, including pitches, sample fulfillment, influencer campaigns and seeding.
- Support monitoring and analysis of all PR and Influencer initiatives and maintain reports.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 1-2 years of Social Media experience in-house or at an agency
- Experience working in beauty, consumer goods, fashion or retail industries preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English and French (role supports Canada and works closely with US cross-functional partners)
- Strong team player and positive, proactive attitude with great interpersonal skills
- Ability to think innovatively and creatively and change course if necessary, to achieve desired results
- Ability to multitask, work independently and with a team are essential
- Attention to detail required
- Results oriented, must be willing to take ownership of all assigned responsibilities and adhere to deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of Analytics and Monitoring tools an asset
- Some travel to local stores is required
