**The Opportunity**:
As a Social Media and Community Engagement Coordinator, you will use your tech-savvy, creativity, and passion to make a positive impact on our community impact through social media.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with followers, respond to messages, and build a supportive online community.
- Create and schedule posts showcasing YMCA’s programs and values.
- Share compelling stories and capture events through mobile photography.
- Highlight the impact of our members, volunteers, Newcomer and community.
- Analyze social media performance and optimize engagement strategies.
- Promote and support YMCA events and programs online.
- Attend events to capture and share content.
- Perform various admin tasks
- Update the website with event info.
- Compile and send newsletters using pre-designed templates.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: High school graduate.
- **Experience**: Basic social media management (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- **Technical Skills**: Experience using Canva;
- **Photography**: mobile photography experience
- **Organization**: Strong multitasking and deadline management skills.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal skills.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborative and independent work capabilities.
- **Flexibility**: Available for occasional evenings or weekends.
- Ability to drive to our various sites is an asset Employment is contingent on having a clean Criminal Record Check.
