**About the Role**

As a **Maintenance Purchaser**, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by sourcing high-quality maintenance materials and services at competitive prices. This position offers a unique opportunity to align purchasing decisions with our sustainability goals while driving efficiency and innovation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Sourcing**: Develop and implement strategies to source quality materials and services efficiently and cost-effectively.
- **Market Analysis**: Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and pricing to support informed purchasing decisions.
- **Risk Management**: Identify supply chain risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- **Supplier Evaluation**: Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and foster continuous improvement.
- **Budget Planning**: Assist with budgeting and report on procurement performance.
- **Cross-Department Collaboration**: Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to meet procurement needs.
- **Environmental Compliance**: Ensure all purchases align with environmental standards and promote eco-friendly alternatives.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain optimal inventory levels and implement efficient stock control measures.
- **Data Analysis**: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.
- **Internal Communication**: Provide updates to stakeholders on procurement status, challenges, and improvements.

**Qualifications**
- 2-6 years of experience in maintenance purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing or recycling environment.
- Proven ability in vendor management, negotiation, and inventory control.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainability best practices and green procurement.
- Proficiency with procurement and inventory management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
