**Overview**

The Estimator is responsible to provide costs to the sales group for primarily for label opportunities, with a secondary focus on envelope and packaging opportunities. This position partners with sales and operations to ensure timely, accurate production estimates based on customers’ specifications. Relying on creativity and moving with a sense of urgency, the Estimator is a key member of the sales support organization who will provide solutions to help sales win news business. The position will be located in Toronto, ON but will support production capabilities in all facilities across North America.

**REPORT TO**:Director of Sales

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**
- Using an estimating model, ensures timely and accurate estimates by reviewing quotes specifications
- Determines most cost effective and competitive manufacturing options by comparing pricing associated with all viable production methods
- Suggests alternatives that may help sales win work.
- Confers with production personnel to develop or confirm information regarding various cost elements.
- Maintains and develops a list of suppliers, sources raw materials, and contacts vendors for best pricing.
- Implements all price increases of raw materials (e.g. paper, film, cartons, skids, freight charges, etc.) into estimates.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
- Use mathematical equations to determine the quantity of material needed.

**REQUIRMENTS**
- Minimum of 2 years estimating experience in label printing, packaging, or paper converting manufacturing environment a requirement
- Understanding of flexographic printing processes
- Must have excellent organizational skills for fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Good interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with internal staff
- Good business communication skills; both oral & written
- Intermediate computer skills required in MSOffice, AX Dynamics experience an asset
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, follow-up, and meet tight timelines
- Effective time management skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Proven creative problem-solving abilities
- Accuracy with managing data and attention to detail
- Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.)
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, high energy, team player focused on the goals of the organization.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
