Service Coordinator

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Dispatcher/Service Coordinator is the first point of contact for all emergency and non-emergency service calls. This role is responsible for scheduling service calls, monitoring service routes and adjusting the daily schedule for Service Technicians.
Responsibilities and Duties:Dispatch/Service Coordinator
- Answer all incoming service requests in a timely manner prioritizing service requests according to urgency.
- Use Dispatch software to track service technicians, identify scheduling issues and inform management of any alterations to the daily schedule.
- Maintaining contact with Service Technicians throughout the day and communicate alterations to their schedule.
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and establish new routes communicating alterations to Service Technicians in a timely manner.
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from drivers and supervisors and resolve discrepancies when needed.
Customer Service
- Maintain a high level of customer service by greeting customer, vendors and visitors in a professional, friendly and effective manner, providing quotations and follow up on service order requests.
- Provide detailed information regarding emergency and non-emergency service requests to enhance the customer experience and improve organizational efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries and communicate accurate information to the appropriate departments, resolving issues when needed.
- Communicate special orders with correct department and responding to issues as they arise.
- Create strong relationships with Service Technicians, customers and vendors to increase customer service levels.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records and logs as required.
Miscellaneous
- Maintain high compliance to dispatch standards and operating procedures.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- **2 years of experience of service coordinating/dispatching in service industry**:
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to changing environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
