triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking **an International Student Services Coordinator
- HOUSING** to join our team at the **Brampton Sault campus**.

**Primary** **Purpose**:
The primary purpose of the **International Student Services Coordinator
- Housing** is to stay current with the local housing options for students and share information with the students and other Student Services Coordinators. Meet with students to help them effectively access the services and support that they require.

The coordinator will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Introduce students to all services available to them both on campus and in the community.
- Assist and advice students on their housing needs in locations of their choice and based on budgets.
- Build strong relationships with landlords, real estate legal counsel, housing resource websites and community partners.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Landlord Tenant Act to be able to advise students accurately on housing issues.
- Network with shelters, hotels, and other emergence transitional places to assist students in emergency situations.
- Share information about housing with other student services coordinators.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma in a related field is preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-4 years knowledge and experience of the housing markets, student, and community housing resources is required.
- Experience coordinating group activities or events.
- Very strong organizational skills.
- Experience working with students or young adults is an asset.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills are mandatory.
- Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

**Hours of Work**:
The hours for this position will be 10 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday.

**Start Date**:
The scheduled start date for this opportunity is **immediate.**
