**AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY**:
Reporting to the Supervisor, LOB Planning and Special Projects, the Coordinator, Integrated Services ensures the provision of quality recreation program delivery and customer service excellence to meet current and changing needs of the community. This position is responsible for creating, developing and implementing inclusion recreation programs, services and/or special events that meet the needs and interests of the residents of the City of Brampton. Specifically, this positions oversees the delivery of inclusion recreation programs; assesses and evaluates inclusion recreation programs; and networks, liaises and partners with various stakeholders to coordinate, facilitate and collaborate in the delivery of inclusion recreation programs, services and special events. This position plays an integral role in reducing the barriers to recreation programs within the City of Brampton in order to provide more accessibility and an inclusive recreation environment for individuals with disabilities and/or unique needs.

**Supervision, Leadership and Staff Development**
- Recruit, train, manage, coach and provide guidance to promote effective full and part time employee relations and encourage increased moral, innovation and productivity to meet business needs
- Provide advice, guidance and direction to recreation staff and volunteers in the delivery of inclusion recreation programs, services and/or special events
- Respond to and assists recreation staff and volunteers with crisis support and/or physical/ behaviour interventions during the delivery of recreation, when required
- Form action plan to ensure program quality assurance
- Manage adherence to governing legislations and regulations; corporate policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
- Evaluate training needs, and manage execution of staff trainings, orientations and meetings
- Ensure current self-knowledge of technical skills for staff development
- Visit the City’s various recreation facilities to oversee inclusion recreation programs and services, completes facility scans, and responds to various requests/ concerns from Recreation Staff and program participants/ family members of program participants

**Administration**
- Participate in preparing grant proposals and/or developing fundraising initiatives/ projects to generate funds for distribution to individuals with disabilities and/or unique needs requiring financial assistance to support recreation service fees
- Act as a City of Brampton representative on external committees, associations, and working groups to gather information, discuss emerging trends, best practices and challenges, and to develop partnerships
- Prepare reports for Recreation Supervisor which may include the collection and analysis of data, customer satisfaction, revenue and expenses, etc.
- Manage and review daily, weekly and sessional statistics and checklists
- Manage membership extensions, suspensions and payroll verification
- Adherence to all mandated deadlines
- Participation in facility team’s quality assurance program
- Coordinate payments/documentation for all invoices in accordance to corporate standards

**Customer Service and Community Development**
- Continuous improvement of customer experience through anticipating, managing and resolving concerns, requests inquires and successes
- Liaise with community leaders, groups, sponsors and external groups
- Develop partnerships with various agencies, businesses and organizations serving individuals with disabilities and/or unique needs to acquire funding for various projects
- Act as a point of contact and networks and liaises with City Branches/ Departments, organizations, municipalities, government agencies, social service agencies, school boards, the general public, elected officials, and other stakeholders regarding inclusion recreation programs related matters
- Promote and creates awareness of inclusion recreation programs, services and/or special events within the City of Brampton
- Ongoing assessment of community needs
- Manage community events (including analyzing follow-up reports and debriefing)
- Develop strategies to increase customer recruitmen
