Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: You will: - coordinate partnerships and regional engagements with industry stakeholders - facilitate logistics for province-wide summer student and on call staff training seminars and workshops - negotiate with external partners and vendors to develop, execute and oversee contractual agreements to sell merchandise and travel experiences - provide contractual, procurement and liaison support for the acquisition of new products and services - coordinate statistics and reporting of identified service delivery channels and business operations - lead operations of point of sale system (POS) including user interface and back-end asset and inventory management and reporting - support and coordinate operational and business planning - forecast, monitor and reconcile expenditures and develop financial reports related to business and operations - lead revenue forecasting for retail and ticketing programs in Travel Centres - source and procure all branded assets and manage the inventory and warehousing of all promotional assets - contribute to the planning, development and execution promotional and tourism events, conferences and marketing initiatives - develop and implement strategies to build and showcase Ontario at a variety of events, and raise awareness locally, regionally and province-wide for Ontario Travel Information Services **How do I qualify?**: **Project Management and Planning Skills**: - you have project management and research skills to contribute to the planning and execution of programs and operations and ensure they meet business needs and are delivered within established timeframes - you have experience with training techniques to prepare and deliver student and on call staff training and development workshops and product tours - you have the ability to determine urgent matters and prioritize your own work when performing a variety of different tasks with conflicting deadlines - you have well developed planning skills to coordinate tourism events and product tours - you have knowledge of project management principles to develop and manage projects and events to successful conclusion **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: - you have proven communication skills and political acuity to act as the front-line contact for OTMPC and communicate about the Ontario Travel Information Services programs and to be a local and regional representative of OTMPC as an organization - you have interpersonal and relationship building skills to develop and manage relationships with industry partners and vendors - you have negotiation skills to coordinate the sale of products, establish and manage contracts with stakeholders and vendors and negotiate strategies and plans with the industry - you have well developed written communication skills to prepare a variety of material such as budget and proposal submissions, reports, correspondence and training materials **Procurement and Financial Skills**: - you have demonstrated experience forecasting, monitoring and reconciling expenditures and developing financial reports - you have financial management skills to monitor budgets, spending and contractual agreements with external service providers - you have knowledge of procurement practices and bid review processes to develop RFPs and generate cost estimates from vendors and suppliers - you have experience with procurement and contract development to develop, deliver and manage vendor contracts **Analytical Skills**: - you have analytical skills to develop and implement strategies to build and showcase Ontario through the Ontario Travel Information Services delivery channels and programs - you can develop performance reports, forecasts and strategic plans from received inputs and industry researc
