Office Manager/bookkeeper

As our client base continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and to be apart of our growing office.
We are looking for a staff member to join our team who can take complete ownership of the full accounting cycle and manage payroll for a range of clients, communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and managers. A problem solver who, like us, is passionate about doing things right.
**Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to**:
- Managing and processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for designated clients.
- Managing the full-cycle accounting function for a small number of organizations, working closely with them to prioritize your work to meet their deadlines and business needs
- Accurately recording client invoices, employee expenses and supplier invoices, and make sure supplier payments are made on time.
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements and analyzing balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
- working with QuickBooks software
- Full Cycle accounting
- HST, GST, WSIB, Payroll and other reporting
- Billing & Collections
- data entry (entering expense transactions etc.)
- preparing P&L statements, Debt Analysis, AP/AR statements, etc.
- Financial Projections & Budgeting
- Preparing year-end reports
- Invoicing customers and following up on payment status, etc.
- Preparing pay statements for employees, contractors and vendors
- assisting operations with paperwork completion
- other admin tasks, as necessary
**Must have**:
- Full-Cycle accounting experience
- Experience working with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with GST/HST reporting
- Liaising with the CRA and other finance and tax-related government entities
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Attention to detail
