Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong office experience, excellent computer skills, and a background in bookkeeping and administrative support. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth financial operations of our organization while utilizing a variety of clerical and customer service skills. The position is Part-time and involves handling essential financial record-keeping, data entry, and administrative tasks in a professional environment.
Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Perform data entry related to invoices, payments, and expense tracking
- Handle billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation processes
- Support administrative functions such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records
- Assist with front desk responsibilities including multi-line phone systems, greeting visitors, and managing appointments
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone etiquette and customer support interactions
- Support office operations by managing correspondence, proofreading documents, and ensuring organizational efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and client data
- Assist with medical or dental office tasks if applicable, including filing patient records or supporting dental receptionist duties
Qualifications
- Proven experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- Clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Good typing speed along with proofreading skills for document accuracy
- Customer service experience with excellent phone etiquette and support skills
- Prior experience in medical or dental office environments is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
