**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Union Collective Agreements (Local 183 & Local 793). We currently use a third-party company called Payworks.
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks Online for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory filings.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks Online.
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Construction experience is an asset, but not required.
- **MUST**be local to the Midland/Penetang/Tay/Tiny area. Remote work will not be considered.
