Job Overview

We are a local Property Management company seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper - Property Administrator to join our team. The Property Administrator provides day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational support for a Residential and Commercial real estate portfolio.

This role is the central coordination point for Bookkeeping, tenant communication, vendor management, work order processing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Administration

  • Manage Accounts Payable
  • Manage Accounts Receivable
  • Month End Processing - Financial summaries to ownership
  • Process invoices, review coding, and ensure timely approval according to company policy

Tenant & Customer Service

  • Manage work orders in the service platform (e.g., Yardi).
  • Coordinate tenant notifications, and communication of building updates.
  • Track and resolve tenant concerns, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation when required.

Lease & Documentation Support

  • Assist Property Manager with lease abstracts, options tracking, and critical dates.
  • Prepare correspondence, memos, service notices, and tenant communication.
  • Support rent roll updates, parking management, and monthly lease administration tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+years of Bookkeeping, Property Administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Principles & Property Management
  • Familiarity with property management software (Yardi,)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills — professional, clear, and responsive.
  • Customer-service mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
