Bookkeeper/safety Person

**Overview**
**Shared Duties**
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Handle accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop accounting software.
- Prepare financial statements and reports as needed for management review.
- Administration of Safety Program including COR management and in house auditing.
- Provide TDG & WHMIS training.
- Maintain equipment maintenance and inspection records.
- Maintain employee Certification & Safety records.
- COR Management and internal audits.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and related regulations.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes and account management.
- Ability to analyze accounts and provide clear insights into financial data.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and best practices in bookkeeping.
- Certified COR Auditor - Training may be provided
- Familiarity with Oilfield Trucking operations.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
