Manager, Advisory Services

**We are currently looking for a Manager to join our Advisory Services department in Montreal to contribute to the success of the team.**
You will be immersed in a fast-paced environment with varied and complex challenges that will require innovative recommendations backed by a depth and breadth of expertise.
The Advisory team focuses on transaction advisory services, mergers & acquisitions, financial modeling, business valuations and general business advisory, and our clients typically consist of private corporations, investors, private equity firms and financial institutions.

**Your contribution**
General
- Coordinate engagements with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop, train and coach junior team members.
- Assist in developing practice strategy (department growth, best practices, etc.).
- Deliver high-quality client service.
Transaction Advisory
- Coordinate financial due diligence and provide transaction in order to validate the financial and commercial assumptions on which the contemplated acquisition is based (Quality of Earnings).
- Assess working capital requirements.
- Review of various legal documents and agreements (Letter of Intent, financing agreements, Share or Asset Purchase Agreements, etc.).
- Identify key deal issues and the potential impacts on the investment strategy.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare Quality of Earnings reports.

Other Advisory Services
- Develop managerial tools such as key performance indicators, financial metrics, etc.
- Develop budgeting and forecasting tools.
- Prepare and/or review financial projections.
- Review/prepare short-term and long-term business plans.
**Experience and qualifications**
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA, CBV) is preferred.
- 3+ years of transactional services or restructuring experience in a service firm and 7+ years of total experience of accounting and/or finance experience in a consulting and/or corporate environment.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Professional report writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to cope with changing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work autonomously.
