Great Foods, part of the El Naggar Group, is a prominent food company in Egypt with a rich history dating back to 1978. We employ over 2000 individuals across our operations, which include sixteen production lines in six factories spread over 44 acres of land.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Food Service Sales Manager to lead and grow our business with independent food service distributors and operator targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the food service distribution and operator landscape. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and strengthening partnerships with independent distributors and operators.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies targeting independent food service distributors and operators to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and devise plans to penetrate and grow within the independent distributor and operator segments.
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing independent distributors and operators to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and providing solutions that align with their business objectives.
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and onboard new independent distributors and operator accounts.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas and adjust strategies accordingly.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
- Provide feedback and insights to cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to assess progress toward targets.
- Use CRM tools to manage accounts, forecast sales, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the food service industry, preferably with independent distributors or operator accounts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the food service distribution network, including independent distributors and operators.
- Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
