The Opportunity
Project: The scheme involves multiple transit lines, new and existing stations, bridges and tunnels.
This is an opportunity to deliver the best possible transportation services today while leading the way to an even better, more convenient service for tomorrow in Toronto. Making the best possible use of the public transportation investment and measurably improving the quality of life in the region.
The role will manage overall coordination, scheduling, facilitation and follow-up of leadership development and coaching programs.
To expand the course and develop leaders in other areas of the business by setting up a leadership development certification program.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Developing an organizational development strategy to address current organizational gaps, augmenting the findings from the P3M3 assessment, with a detailed review of the integrated project controls across key program management disciplines and validating target maturity and priority areas with the leadership team.
- Helping high-potential and other managers identify goals, set expectations, and monitor progress.
- Partnering with senior leadership to identify both internal and external resources and programs that will expand upon and improve existing manager/leadership development offerings.
- Developing and implementing a training matrix across key functional areas of the organization.
- Creating reports and dashboards of learning and development metrics, including internal promotion data, to monitor the delivery and effectiveness of programs.
- Supervising the organizational development team and other organizational stakeholders and partners to design and develop learning solutions using a variety of training modalities. Delivering training and evaluating program quality and effectiveness.
- Supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, as well as rewards and recognition programs (e.g., service awards).
- Creating learning paths to ensure the right and best-fit training at the right time; monitoring progress and reporting out.
- Partnering with internal communications and talent acquisition to create compelling collateral that celebrates internal wins and attracts applicants.
- Evaluating and synthesizing data from multiple sources to identify patterns and make recommendations/decisions.
- Understanding details and processes within a larger context and how complex systems are interrelated.
About you
You will have a degree qualification; a master's will be beneficial. You have progressive work experience in HR with a specific focus on learning and development, talent management and facilitation.
You are digitally savvy and an expert in Microsoft 365 suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint. You can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
