**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, including personnel files, timekeeping systems, and HRIS.
- Support employee relations initiatives, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating communication between employees and management.
- Assist with HR compliance activities, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, such as drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and scheduling meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR coordination or administration role preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms. Experience with Dayforce is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- HR certification (e.g., CPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
