Social Media Community Engagement Associate

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Social Media Community Engagement Associate - Consumer Brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish expertise on assigned Brand(s) including Brand voice, persona, product claims, scientific point of differentiation, competitive landscape, as well as category and consumer trends. Maintain a strong awareness of emerging community themes and trends through consistent monitoring and frequent direct engagement on social media channels
- Maintain strong connectivity to Brand partners establishing a comprehensive working knowledge of their priorities and plans including new product introductions, changes to claims, packaging, labeling and discontinuations as well as paid social media, eCommerce, promotions, and professional activation
- Act as the voice of the brand with consumers by responding to comments in social media channels, in real-time. Drive consistency of our Brand voice and personality on social media by delivering engaging, on-brand responses. Stay versed in day-to-day social media & cultural trends and be excited and ready to engage consumers on those topics. Capitalize on live events and real-time opportunities relevant to Brand communities. Build long lasting consumer relationships, growing social media communities as a result
- Develop new and innovative ways to foster conversation and engage with our Brand’s communities, working cross-functionally to influence the design of campaigns inclusive of 1:1 consumer engagement
- Collaborate with CEL, Brand and agency partners to update Brand voice and persona, when needed while leading updates to social media platform playbooks
- Establish Brand-specific community management standards and engagement goals
- Capture consumer insights and create reports on social media community management efforts, trends, and opportunities. Bring new ideas informed by insights from the community. Be a reliable source of knowledge and perspective on consumers and their relationships with Brands
- In partnership with CCC leaders, ensure front-line Social Media Specialists are coached to maximize performance and ensure Brand image, voice, and persona are projected effectively and consistently. Ensure consistent customer-facing communications across channels, delivering training materials, drafting social media-friendly messaging for initiatives like new product launches, and FAQs. Fuel our knowledge center with timely information about paid and organic social media campaigns, sampling and ratings & reviews initiatives, and product updates
- Support CEL in partnering with Commercial Brand and PR Communications Leads, as well as the CCC Operations and Project Management Leads to manage crises and escalations
- Maintain expertise in all aspects of direct consumer engagement including careful communication, escalation, and compliance
- As defined by the CEL and Brand ways-of-working, support development and execution of organic social media activations including content creation, copywriting, approval, content calendar scheduling, programming, and publication
**Qualifications**
- Minimum Bachelors/University Degree required
- 1-2+ years of experience working in the fields of social media, content management and community management required. Experience with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok required
- Passion for delivering great consumer experiences and fostering communities - you are a natural conversationalist who enjoys interacting with brand loyalists and fans
- Interest in content development (and potentially photography/videography/graphic design experience) and desire to bring new forms of content to our consumers as social channels evolve. Excellent written communication skills: grammar, sentence structure, and spelling for both content creation and reporting
- Experience with Social Listening tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Khoros (desired; not required)
- Experience in the Beauty, Cosmetics, Dermatology, Skin Care (preferred for roles supporting NEUTROGENA® and AVEENO® brands)
- Knowledge of influencer marketing trends preferred
- Agile thinker and creative problem solver to help propel our brands, even in a highly regulated environment
- Detail-oriented and thorough way of working, with an interest in consistently tracking the impact of your efforts through metrics that matter
- Passion for learning and a natural dissatisfaction with the status quo
- Demonstrated ability and preference for working in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment, adapting to continually changing priorities and ambitious project timeframes
- Positive can-do attitude, team player and eagerness to show their entrepreneurial spirit by treating supported brand(s) as their own
- Due to the nature of consumer care and social media, schedule flexibility to include the possibility of off-hours and weekend work, when required. Ability to travel up to 10% required
