**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance and support to staff and management.
- Assist and support payroll processes.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Organize workshops, safety training, team-building activities, and staff events.
- Collaborate with management on project management initiatives related to HR functions.
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including new hire orientation and documentation.
- Assist in developing HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals.
- Support managers with performance issues through coaching and development plans.
- Coordinate with 3rd party organizations that may require HR data.
- Active member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of human resources practices and employment laws.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to develop training programs tailored to organizational needs.
- Strong recruiting skills with a focus on finding top talent.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 42.5 per week
