JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Coordinator and as an integral part of MCC BC’s office team, the Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative and functional support across all MCC BC teams. This dynamic and multifaceted position involves offering relief and assistance to the reception team, supporting the Advancement team with donor engagement, database management, event coordination, and assisting the Programs team with administrative and service-related tasks. Additionally, the role extends to collaborating with the Social Enterprise, Executive Support, and Administration teams to manage tasks, improve processes, and execute projects.
Each day, the Administrative Assistant exemplifies MCC BC’s core beliefs, values, and mission, fostering positive and professional interactions with colleagues, visitors, donors, and stakeholders while delivering well-organized, proactive, and dependable support to ensure the success of MCC BC’s initiatives.

**Qualifications**

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & ACCREDITATIONS
- A certificate, diploma or degree in business or commerce
- Minimum 1 year of relevant office or administrative experience
- Or some combination of education and some experience

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Proficient and advancing expertise in utilizing modern office technologies, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, and web browsers
- Skilled in delivering welcoming, professional, and accurate responses to inquiries through written communication, phone calls, and in-person interactions
- Developing proficiency in operating standard office equipment, such as telephone switchboards, photocopiers, scanners, and cutting machines
