The Account Development Executive is a key member of our sales team, responsible for hunting for new business and follow up with potential customers to qualify leads before passing them to our Senior Account Executives. This role is important - you will be the first impression our customers have with eCivis, so you will build the foundation for future partnerships.
This role requires creativity to source new leads and reach potential customers. You will need to be a strong communicator, who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone. You’ll also need great listening skills to gain an understanding of the needs of our customers.
This role is a great opportunity to strengthen your skills in software sales.
What You’ll Do
- Be on the Hunt: Prospect by following up on inbound marketing leads, and outbound prospecting to new leads
- Advocate the Client: Engage with potential customers to understand their goals, and educate them on the value of eCivis
- Join Forces: Collaborate with the Senior Account Executives to help fill their pipeline with qualified leads
- Wing“man”: Assist the Senior Account Executive with discovery calls, demos and stepping for the Senior Account Executive as required.
- Crush Your Goals: Achieve and exceed your sales KPIs for development of both Mid-Market and Enterprise opportunities.
- Discover and Develop: Learn about the industry and hone your sales acumen

Who You Are

**Education & Experience**: Post-secondary degree or relevant experience. This is an entry-level position - New grads welcome

**Skills**:

- Comfortable with technology and SaaS businesses
- Persistent, with a determination to achieve success
- Confident with engaging with customers and negotiation
- Curious and want to help others solve problems
- Team oriented
- Experience with a CRM or Salesforce is a bonus
- Experience with an Outreach platform is a bonus

**Location**: This role will be based out of Questica’s beautiful new office in Oakville, Ontario. Hybrid work options may become available once you have been ramped up.
