ANK Maintenance Services is at the forefront of the janitorial industry. ANK Maintenance Services is searching for an office admin to help create and maintain relationships with current and potential employees and clients.

The busy, vibrant, and expanding industry of janitorial services at ANK Maintenance Services relies heavily on the Office Assistant. You will be required to manage the daily administrative and research tasks in this position while using good judgment and independence. To ensure the department's success, you will show a strong dedication to providing customer service while utilizing great problem-solving and communication abilities.

The Office Assistant's working hours are: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm

The Office Assistant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Order and restock janitorial and office supplies
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Other duties as assigned
- Posting Job Advertisements
- Conducting phone interviews
- Scheduling interviews
- Timesheet and payroll management of all staff
- Creating Employee schedules
- Process HR required forms
- Process invoicing
- Reconcile all costs and expense
- Prepare monthly income statements and profit and loss statements
- Assist with Annual Activity Report process

Job Requirements
- Must be willing to sign Non-disclosure agreement
- Preferred minimum of one (1) year of related experience preferably working within a janitorial company
- Applicants with proven equivalent recent and related training and experience may also be considered
- Educational or work experience with office administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Superior organization skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Superior work ethic, professionalism, dependability and reliability.
- Ability to make decisions, exercise judgment and take initiative in dealing with confidential information and/or in responding to inquiries
- Flexible with ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking and dynamic environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, excellent interpersonal and professional skills, ability to work with established team and independently as required
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record.
- Must have valid SIN card and be authorized to work in Canada.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Milton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
