**Event Coordinator**

Album Studios is known for specializing in full service photography studio productions and event rentals and coordination. 3 studio locations, 7 studio spaces, photography equipment rentals, prop rentals and planning services. We are looking to expand our team in preparation for the event season.

R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
- Working alongside the Event Coordinator/Sales Manager to plan weddings, galleries, corporate and social events
- Coordinate with outside vendors and studio staff to ensure that all aspects of the event run smoothly
- Provide a high level of service throughout the event timeline. Handle any issues that may arise with care and attention
- Maintain strong relationships with a number of clients including answering new event inquiries
- Conduct comprehensive site tours of the venue for potential event clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals and have a solid vendor base of contacts
- Maintain strong communication and customer service skills
- Manages events in the booking system to reflect accurate, up to date information including pricing

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and some holidays
- 3+ years experience in working events, event management or similar
- Smart Serve Certification
- Bartending and Bar Management is an asset
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-paced environment with competing priorities
- Ability to move large and heavy items
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Google Office
- Creative and solutions-oriented
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Driver’s License is an asset

We do require flexibility on travelling between locations to lead site visits and in-studio management

S C H E D U L E
- 2-4 days a week
- 8-12 hour shifts

C O M P E N S A T I O N
- Hourly

Must have references.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
