**Payroll & Benefits Coordinator**

We are looking for an individual who is technically inclined, energetic, productive, and can handle multiple priorities in a timely fashion with a high level of accuracy.

Process assigned payroll, including hires, terminations, and changes to earnings, deductions and employee information.

Continuous review of data to ensure accuracy.

Process manual payments as required.

Enroll employees in group insurance and the company pension plan as they become eligible, including processing any changes as required.

Submit employee records of employment (ROE) to Service Canada as required.

Create and submit reports to benefit suppliers and government departments along with remittances as needed.

Process year-end requirements, including distribution of employee tax forms.

Provide reporting to Human Resources, Accounting and Management as needed.

A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certificate.

3 - 5 years work experience within a payroll department.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.

Experience with using ADP Payroll Systems.

Experience working with hourly unionized payroll.

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Intermediate working knowledge and experience with using Microsoft Office programs.
