Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Solutions, the Office Administrator will work closely with the Customer and their Procurement team to drive total SCM value. We are looking for a strong administrative professional who can wear multiple hats and do more than just monitor the front door. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to have a greater impact than a traditional Receptionist role can offer. The role is the first point of contact in the overall success of the company. By effectively managing the administrative function across multiple business units, they are able to coordinate multiple priorities in the day-to-day operations of the company.
**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- This role is responsible for (but not limited to):
- Managing the Front Desk (e.g.: Visitor Log, switchboard, Packages)
- Coordinating for courier (inbound & outbound)
- Managing Badge program
- Administering safety compliance protocols
- Monitoring metering requirements (e.g.: copiers, utilities)
- Generate reports for management use (e.g.: customer and vendor/supplier, inventory tracking)
- Coordinating with external IT support
- Supplies management (office supplies, general warehouse supplies, promotional material)
- Assisting in marketing efforts (e.g.: promotional information/materials, online/mobile)
- Filing and document management
- Managing mail/correspondence (e.g.: proper postage, processing inbound mail and redirecting to appropriate staff)
- Assisting in event planning and execution
- Ad hoc analysis and special projects
- Other duties as required/assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 5 years related administrative experience
- Degree or Diploma required (Business Administration preferred)
- Experience with integrated systems: SAP, Sage, WMS, Red Prairie as asset
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Engaging and positive approach to work
- Quick learner, flexible and adaptable and consistent
- Ability to organize workload and establish priorities
- Ability to produce timely and accurate reports
