Howe Sound Pulp and Paper is a leading producer of high quality Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft pulps. These pulps are used by customers worldwide to make a wide variety of products from tissue and paper towels to fine writing paper.

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and undertake a variety of HR duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of departmental and employee’s records, supporting the interview and onboarding process.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Maintain records of personnel-related data
- Support the recruitment/hiring process.
- Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
- Participate in the development and communication of human resources business, processes, policies, and programs
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Human Resources
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, experience in unionized environment is an asset
- Ability to adapt quickly, deliver under pressure, and be solution oriented.
- Willingness to develop a career and support the organization.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work under pressure
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate with others including the ability to
