**Join us as a Front Desk Coordinator**
Are you ready to make an impact? At NorLand Limited, we’re looking for a new team member to fill the position of Front Desk Coordinator for the Corporate Head office, located in Burnaby BC. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, you will be the initial point of contact for and provide direction to visitors, incoming phone calls, and shipping and receiving. You will ensure the office is running smoothly and efficiently, and security procedures are adequately followed
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Be present in a central location as a first point of contact to greet, assist and direct any vendor, supplier, customer, or other walk-ins appropriately, as well as deliveries/recycling/courier services
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Receive and sort daily incoming mail
- Organize office equipment maintenance, ordering general office and printer supplies
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Ensure reception area and all common areas throughout the office are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials to do business
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, arranging courier services and faxing
- Order/download print bid documents & drawings, as needed
- Coordinate off-site printing tasks, as needed
- Keep in-house forms and brochures in stock
- Assist with organizing company events, in-office charitable campaigns, in-office staff lunches
- Submit work orders to the landlord, building maintenance and building security company for maintenance and cleaning issues, keys, and pass cards. Maintain records for pass cards and keys
- Assist with internal staff office moves, relocations, renovations, as required
- Organize and track accounting hardcopy files for storage; rotate out for shredding
- Arrange for local and long-distance couriers

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
