**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process at the front desk.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records by updating electronic medical records (EMR).
- Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring efficient workflow within the office.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments and any necessary follow-up care.

**Skills** **Medical office assistant diploma/certification mandatory.**
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the office.
- Experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems in a healthcare environment.
- Administrative skills that support the overall functionality of the medical office.
