**Volunteer - Flyer & Poster Distribution Specialist**

**Volunteering overview**:
Join us as a Flyer & Poster Distribution Specialist for Latin American Experience and Carnaval del Sol In this energetic role, you will distribute promotional materials throughout designated neighbourhoods, local businesses, and community spaces. This position is perfect for outgoing individuals with stamina and a passion for spreading the word about our vibrant festival.

**Responsibilities**:

- Distribute flyers and posters in targeted neighbourhoods and local businesses to maximize festival visibility.
- Identify key community spaces for promotional placements.
- Engage with local business owners and residents to encourage support for Carnaval del Sol.
- Ensure that all promotional materials are displayed effectively and attractively.
- Track distribution progress and report back to the organizing team.
- Collaborate with other team members to strategize outreach efforts.
- Engages directly with the public in high-traffic areas, spreading excitement about the festival, handing out materials, and answering questions.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High energy and enthusiasm for community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Stamina and willingness to walk or travel within designated areas.
- Basic organizational skills to track distribution efforts.
- Passion for promoting cultural events and community involvement.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.

**Duration**: April 24 - July 23 / 15 - 20 hours per week

**Carnaval del Sol**:Jonathan Rogers Park, 110 W 7th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1L7
