**Position Overview**

Aecon Industrial brings seamless solutions to key clients through operational excellence and reliability. With the ability to self-perform across our diverse business offering and a strategic fabrication network, Aecon Industrial proactively and profitably manages projects across a diverse range of industrial business areas (Renewable Energy, Natural Gas Distribution, Oil and Gas, Water, Mining, Cogeneration Energy, Chemical, etc.). Aecon Industrial is also known for the pioneering of prefabricated piping services to better manage site labour and the integration of specialized coating systems into the fabrication process.

Reporting to the Office Manager or Senior Estimator, the Office Administrator is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and responsibilities for the office team using strong organizational and communication while maintaining confidentiality.

**What You’ll Do Here**:

- Provide reception and administrative support to office staff as required.
- Perform general clerical duties; photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing and couriers etc.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Such as assisting with client meetings.
- Assist with vendors providing waste removal, janitorial service/supplies, office supplies, water and coffee.
- Administers office and safety supplies, stationary.
- Assist as required with the Proposal Coordinator with formatting and preparation of miscellaneous bid submission requirements.
- Assist as required with Labour Relations group with administrative tasks filing, etc.
- Maintain and organize document files.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Suggest and implement improved work methods and systems relating to administrative tasks.

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Previous experience with administrative duties ideal.
- Excellent computer skills using MS Office products, including MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently, accurate computer data input and record keeping.
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
- Ability to problem solve and work independently.
- Must be able to deal with sensitive customer issues in a confidential manner.
- Strong communication skills, dealing tactfully with employees, visitors and customers.
- Problem solving, planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, work to timelines.
