**Position Summary**:
The position of Office Administrator within the Service department in Edmonton, AB, Canada involves providing exceptional administrative and clerical support under direct supervision by the Service Operations Manager - Edmonton. The role also serves as a welcoming receptionist and coordinator of various office functions. This role also serves as the central point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception area. Additionally, the Office Administrator will coordinate various office functions to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and complete diverse clerical and administrative tasks across office functions.
- Provide high-level administrative support to operations, sales, and management team members.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, the Company’s Security Policy, and related work instructions for employees and visitors.
- Maintain an organized filing system of electronic documents
- Other duties as assigned.

**Accountabilities**
- Support management and executives in administrative tasks that meet or exceeds the measurable company objectives.
- Perform exceptional receptionist duties.
- Follow and help to drive the lean enterprise system office processes.
- Show a positive and welcoming image of Tranter towards everyone and possess a friendly demeanor.

**Skills/Competencies required**
- Ability to work independently, high motivation with a high degree of self-initiative.
- Understand, adopt, and model the behavior outlined in the Tranter Core Values
- Effective customer and employee relations skills
- Excellent communications skills in English, both written and verbal as well as a professional presence
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and other related software programs (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
etc.)

Company SOP’s

**Education, Qualifications and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, or similar discipline, a plus.
- 3 years of experience as an office administrative professional, office manager
or equivalent customer service experience
- Experience in a lean and/or six sigma environment preferred
