**Role**:

- The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the organizational unit in meeting operational requirements and service delivery standards.**Responsibilities**:

- Execute and coordinate administrative activities in support of the respective organizational unit, such as gathering and recording data, preparing reports, tracking and reporting on transactions and enabling the flow of information.
- Support departmental leaders in planning and management activities.
- Respond to internal and/or external inquiries.
- Ensure proper records management of Seaway files, including the maintenance of electronic and physical files and proper recording and destruction of these files as per established (corporate) records management procedures.
- Act as a “super user” on office systems and provide support on these to others in the unit.

**Experience and knowledge**:

- Minimum of one(1) to three (3) years related administrative/clerical experience.

**Education**:

- High School Diploma and Post-Secondary Studies in Office Administration or related field

**Certifications**:
Hours of work**:37.5 per week

Salary range:$CAN38.35/hour (min) to $CAN39.63/hour (max)
