**Volunteering overview**:
Join us as an Office Assistant for the Latin American Experience and Carnaval del Sol In this vital administrative role, you will support the Logistics Managers to ensure the smooth execution of festival operations. Your organizational skills will be essential for handling permits, contracts, communication, and general logistics coordination for the event.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist Logistics Managers with administrative tasks related to festival planning and execution.
- Handle permits, contracts, and other necessary documentation for the event.
- Coordinate communication between team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain records related to logistics and event operations.
- Support logístical coordination, including scheduling and resource management.
- Assist with problem-solving and troubleshooting during the festival planning process.
- Manage the executive's day-to-day calendar, including scheduling meetings and sending invitations.
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly. Inventory, maintenance, etc.
**Qualifications**:
- English fluency - Spanish and/or Portuguese is an asset
- BSc/Certificate in Business Administration or relevant field is an asset
- Strong organizational, administrative skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Drive
- Take responsibility, problem solve and make independent decisions
- Ability to work cooperatively, meet deadlines, multitask and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and data.
- Experience in event planning or logistics is a plus.
**Duration**: April 24 - July 23 / 15 - 20 hours per week
