**Decorative Assistant Volunteer**

**Volunteering overview**:
Join us as a Decorative Assistant for the Latin American Experience and Carnaval del Sol In this creative role, you will assist in designing and preparing decorative materials for the festival. Your contributions will help bring the vibrant atmosphere of Carnaval del Sol to life through crafting, painting, and assembling decorative elements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the design and preparation of decorative materials for the festival.
- Help with crafting, painting, and assembling decorative elements before and during the event.
- Manage the transport and organization of decorative supplies to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure all decorations align with the festival's theme.
- Ensure that all materials arrive at the correct locations for installation on schedule.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to facilitate efficient preparation.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience in crafting, painting, or similar artistic activities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage supplies effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with other team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and timelines.

**Duration**: April 24 - July 23 / 15 - 20 hours per week
- **Tuesday/Thursday 5 pm - 7 pm**_
- **Saturday - 5 hours**_

**Carnaval del Sol**:Jonathan Rogers Park, 110 W 7th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1L7
